"We have assessed all available earpieces on the market and tested each, the N-Ear Stealth 360 was the best by far in our field testing. Not only in audio quality and durability, but also in the minimalistic design that is much less noticeable than any other options, including covert wireless devices. The comfort factor is what really caught our attention, these devices can be worn well in excess of 12 hours a day with no discomfort or ear fatigue caused by even the best custom moulded pieces. No other device is comparable to our knowledge, based on our testing. In addition, we required the ability to monitor ambient sound for situational awareness, and this excelled in that area as well as providing the option for a close fit that excludes ambient noise for noisy environments. We outfitted all officers in our District with these and are very satisfied with the service and support from N-Ear and Woodlea Communications Inc. Canada"

TRIAL N-EAR S360 Covert Earpiece for APX3000 Radio System
TESTING RESULTS
DOMESTIC OPERATIONS- Our current earpieces doesn’t allow to hear through both ears while in use, you lose the ability to hear from one side which interferes with your situational awareness while talking to anyone while working.
The N-EAR S360 Covert earpiece allows the user to hear through both ears which gives the user 360 perception when working in any environment.
TIME- Some days can last a long time of upwards of 18 hours a day. The earpiece can be painful to wear for long periods of time which makes the job more difficult to think, when the user can’t focus on 100% towards his task.
N-EAR S360- The N-EAR S360 itself is small wire that can easily be hidden while working which allows the user to have a low posture in whatever environment we are working.
DURABILITY- The N-EAR S360 has been packed in luggage by multiple users and has been very dependable piece of equipment that works in all environments. Not one of our trial earpieces malfunctioned or stopped working while in trial.
CONCLUSION- It is recommended that we purchase units to outfit the users in deployment sections so that they start using this equipment as soon as possible. Given that they have performed so well and the users did not want to part with the N-EAR S360 covert earpieces I believe that going forward with this will raise morale and allow our unit to perform at a heightened state while on operations.
